Click Speed Test (CPS Test)
Measure your clicks per second over 1 to 60 seconds.
What does Click Speed Test do?
Measure how fast you can click with a proper CPS test. Pick a duration from one second to a full minute, click as fast as you can, and get your clicks per second, total clicks and a rank against typical scores. Timing starts on your first click, so no reaction time is counted against you.
How to Use Click Speed Test

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a good CPS score?
Around 6 to 7 clicks per second is a normal result for regular clicking. Above 8 is fast, and above 10 usually means a technique such as jitter or butterfly clicking rather than plain clicks.
What is jitter clicking and butterfly clicking?
Jitter clicking uses controlled arm tension to vibrate the finger over the button, reaching roughly 10 to 14 CPS. Butterfly clicking alternates two fingers on one button for a similar rate. Both are hard on the hand and on the mouse switches, so use them sparingly.
Does this test work on a phone?
Yes. Taps are counted exactly like clicks, and the click pad is a large touch target. Scores are usually a little lower on a touchscreen because of the way screens sample touches.
Why does my score differ between attempts?
Short tests amplify noise: one click more in a one-second test changes your score by a whole CPS. Use the ten-second mode for a stable number, and take the best of three runs.
Are my scores sent anywhere?
No. The test runs entirely in your browser and your best scores are kept in your own browser storage, so they stay on this device and are never uploaded.
