Scientific Calculator

A full scientific calculator with memory and history.

Angle mode

Brackets first, then powers, then multiplication and division, then addition and subtraction — so 2 + 3 × 4 gives 14. Press Enter to calculate and Escape to clear.

What does Scientific Calculator do?

A scientific calculator that shows the whole expression rather than one number at a time, so you can see and correct what you typed before pressing equals. It covers trigonometry in degrees and radians, logarithms, powers, roots, factorials, constants and memory, and keeps a running history of everything you have calculated.

How to Use Scientific Calculator

  1. 1
Type or clickBuild the expression with the keypad or your keyboard.
  2. 2
Press equalsThe result appears with the expression kept above it.
  3. 3
Reuse a resultClick any history entry to put it back into the input.

Key Features

  • Full expression editing — see the whole sum before you press equals
  • Trigonometry in degrees or radians, with inverse functions
  • Logarithms (log, ln), powers, roots, factorials and percentages
  • Memory keys and a scrolling history you can click to reuse
  • Full keyboard support, including Enter to evaluate and Escape to clear
  • Correct operator precedence and bracket handling

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it use degrees or radians?

Both — switch with the DEG/RAD toggle, which applies to every trigonometric function including the inverses. The current mode is always shown next to the display so results are never ambiguous.

How is operator precedence handled?

Standard mathematical precedence: brackets first, then powers, then multiplication and division, then addition and subtraction. So 2 + 3 × 4 gives 14, not 20.

Can I use my keyboard?

Yes. Digits, operators and brackets type directly, Enter evaluates, Backspace deletes and Escape clears everything. That is far faster than clicking for long expressions.

Why does 0.1 + 0.2 not give exactly 0.3?

Because binary floating point cannot represent those decimals exactly, which is true of every calculator that uses it. The display rounds to twelve significant figures, which hides the artefact without hiding real precision.
